Created by Matt Baker, ‘Hotel Portofino’ is a period drama series that revolves around Bella Ainsworth and the mystery that unfolds in the titular British hotel she owns. Set in the 1920s, the matriarch Bella wants her lavish hotel to be a home away from home for mainly British travelers and certain demanding guests from other corners of the world. In the process, she doesn’t particularly see eye-to-eye with her husband and also finds herself on the receiving end of blackmails from a strong fascist politician in the area....

Directed by Christian Gudegast, ‘Den of Thieves’ is an action heist movie that follows an elite unit of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department named the Regulators and a gang of ex-military men named the Outlaws. The opposite groups come face to face with each other when the Outlaws come up with an elaborate scheme to pull off an impossible heist on the city’s Federal Reserve Bank while the Regulators do their best to rain on their wicked parade....

Directed by Aaron Sorkin, ‘Molly’s Game’ is a biographical crime film that revolves around Molly (Jessica Chastain), an Olympic-class skier who moves to Los Angeles after suffering a career-ending injury. While working as a waitress, she gets hired as the office manager of Dean (Jeremy Strong), who includes her in his underground poker games. When Molly starts earning large sums of money in tips and develops good relations with many big players, a threatened Dean fires her....

Helmed by Richard Wong, ‘The Valet’ is a euphoric romantic comedy film weighing more towards comedy than romance. An actress almost gets wrapped up in an affair with a married man, and the paparazzi click their photos together. Antonio, the parking valet of the Beverley Hills restaurant, is also in the picture. At this juncture, to save face and steer clear of the controversies, the actress embarks upon a feigned dating spree with the valet....

A sequel to Netflix’s ‘Under the Riccione Sun,’ ‘Under the Amalfi Sun’ (originally titled ‘Sotto il sole di Amalfi’) is an Italian romantic comedy film that follows Vincenzo and Camilla, a year after sparks started to fly between them in Riccione. He invites her and Furio for a vacation at his father’s house on the scenic Amalfi Coast. Though the lovebirds reunite, their love soon faces a few challenges. The romantic movie’s comedic and dramatic narrative is complemented by brilliant performances from a talented group of actors and actresses, comprising Lorenzo Zurzolo, Ludovica Martino, Davide Calgaro, Luca Ward, and Isabella Ferrari....

With strangers living out a romantic storyline through a rough “script” provided to them in the form of journal entries, ‘The Future Diary’ can only be described as a dating series unlike any other. After all, these notes contain simple (yet sometimes prophetic) descriptions for their dates to eventually help them figure out whether true love can really exist in a bit of chaos or not. However, the second installment of this Netflix original follows three individuals rather than two – Moka Nozoe, Akimitsu “Aki” Sumimoto, and Koyo Momota – making their journey much more complex....
